We are often asked about the expected timeframe for the release by the Object Management Group (OMG) of SysML v2, and for the release by Delligatti Associates of SysML Distilled, 2nd Edition, and of our OCSMP Accelerator™ SysML training course. Here is the expected schedule as of August 2025:
- 3Q 2025: SysML v2.0 Formal Release becomes available on the OMG website
- 4Q 2025: Release of the SysML v2 Fundamental Certification coverage map and exam. Beta testing period begins
- 4Q 2025: Dassault Systemes anticipates the first public release of their SysML v2 plugin (concurrent with the release of Cameo Systems Modeler v2026)
- 2Q 2026: Release of Delligatti Associates’ SysML v2 Training Course
- 4Q 2026: Release of SysML Distilled, 2nd Edition
